
Nubian Square Ascends partner, Kai Grant, was among the speakers at this years How to Boston While Black Summit, a first-of-its-kind, that took place between April 28 and 30 at the the Westin Copley Place.
Over the three days, the summit included various aspects such as workshops, panels, and experiences, all with the goal to build 'solutions and strategies to create the city we all want to live in'. Tech and life sciences were also a specific focus of the summit, with a whole day being dedicated to these fields.

Grant joined the summit on Day 2 and addressed the topic of ‘Black in the Past, Black in the Future: Boston's Neighborhoods'. “This is going to catapult the city forward,” Grant said of the summit.
Other speakers included Segun Idowu, Chief of Economic Opportunity and Inclusion at the City of Boston and Erica Jackson of Ginkgo Bioworks, as well as Boston While Black's Founders and CEOs, Sheena Collier and Sherrell Dorsey as key note speakers. Speakers were complimented by featured entertainers, from poets to rappers and DJs.
